April madness update

April madness update

For the month of April, I’m working on so many cool projects that it’d be criminal not to share the news so you can take part as well.

I’m doing interim management work at the Jungle Theater, while handling the search for their new managing director. Check out our next show – Constellations, running April 15 – May 29. The combination of Anna Sundberg, Ron Menzel, string theory and romance promises to be out of this world! (pun intended…)

I’m also the project manager for Charting a Course – a new festival that’s part of O’Shaughnessy’s Women of Substance series. It’s a fantastic line-up, bookended by Meredith Monk and Angelique Kidjo. I’ve been especially involved in the appearance of Ann Bancroft and her international team of women, newly returned from an expedition down the Ganges, as well as a women’s mini theater festival, featuring Allegra Lingo, Heather Meyer, May Lee Yang and Saymoukda Vongsay.

Also in St. Paul, SteppingStone Theatre is doing some really creative programming – check out their Whimsical Worlds series, running April 1 through May 7, in conjunction with Open Eye Figure Theatre. And stay tuned for an announcement soon about exciting new leadership.

Prefer fundraisers? I’ve got four to suggest!

In my spare time, I’m also working with Frank Theatre, Nimbus Theatre, TigerLion Arts. and Brownbody, among others. Call me a sucker, but I’m not good at saying no to great people doing good work!

I’m incredibly lucky to get to work on this variety of projects with such talented folks. And if you ever find yourself needing someone like me, don’t hesitate to reach out – as long as it’s after May, that is…

In the meantime, take care and enjoy spring!
